Our Process

An estimated 90% of all network service providers “carriers” in the marketplace today have established an indirect sales channel within their organizations. The indirect channel, made up of channel partners vs. direct sales reps, is simply a sales vertical within the organization. Service providers are seeing continued growth in revenue generated via the indirect channel (currently an estimated 35% to 40% of revenue is generated via indirect vs. direct sales channels). Why the growth? The IT world has changed. Solutions are more complex. Clients need an experienced team that can design, source, implement and manage their network needs. It is very rare that a single carrier can fill all requirements. Having access to a wide array of provider solutions at our finger tips, we are able to provide unbiased expertise across various carrier platforms & portfolios.

At IP Stack Technologies, we work directly with network services providers within the indirect vertical bringing to your table a full carrier account team and back-office support. Simply put, we become and extension to your chosen vendor’s account team! The difference is that we offer clients a consistent resource as we can become and remain an extension of your account team across multiple carriers. Direct sales channel account teams cannot offer this range of support.

Executive Leadership

Suzanne Kennedy

Principal, IPStack Technologies

Ms. Kennedy brings to IPStack 25 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing complex, global IP networks and advanced IT technologies. Prior to joining IPStack Technologies in 2012, Ms. Kennedy started her career in 1991 as a National Account Support Consultant II, SGUS at MCI Communications working as part of the New York State Department of Corrections Network Control Center & Support team (2yrs). Given her interest in the field of IT, Ms. Kennedy chose to advance her career on a technical path and accepted a position as a Senior Solutions Engineer (16yrs) at Global Crossing Telecommunications in 1993. During this time, through further education and certifications, Ms. Kennedy mastered the IT concepts required to become a true technologist. In 2008, after leading her account teams through complex sales and solution management, Ms. Kennedy was asked to fill the role of a Senior Account Director at Global Crossing (formerly Rochester Tel/Frontier Communications), which she accepted. In this role, Ms. Kennedy quarterbacked strategic relationship with both new and existing Fortune 500 clients based primarily in New England. Ms. Kennedy has a B.S. degree from the University of Vermont, she participated in the M.S. – Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program, University of Colorado Boulder, and has achieved certifications from both Cisco (CCNA/CCDA) and Juniper (JNCIA-M/T). Ms. Kennedy was a presenter, Network World Boston 2008 – VoIP & unified Communications, as well as a Panelist, IDC Sales Advisory Service 2011 & 2012 – Voice of the Sales Rep.

David Cafaro

Principal, IPStack Technologies

Mr. Cafaro brings to IPStack 27 years of Large Enterprise telecommunications industry experience. Prior to entering the Telecom/IT industry, Mr. Cafaro resided in Heidelberg, Germany working for the United Stated Finance & Accounting Center for Europe (4yrs). Upon return to the United States in 1986, Mr. Cafaro continued his career in Finance with Ford Motor Credit (4yrs). In 1990, Mr. Cafaro began his career in Telecom/IT Account Management with Global Crossing (formerly Rochester Tel/Frontier Communications). In this role Mr. Cafaro consistently achieved success as a top performer and was awarded to the Circle of Excellence from 1991 thru 2001. In 2002, based on his inherent skill of developing both financial and operational IT strategies for Fortune 500 clients, coupled with his expertise in life cycle account management and support, Mr. Cafaro. For the past 14 years, Mr. Cafaro has successfully fostered the triple digit growth of his Telecom/IT brokerage business with a focus on Healthcare, Insurance and Manufacturing industries. Over the years he has specialized in data as well as complex voice (TDM/SIP) designs, and has crafted a true niche in call center/IVR/Toll Free complex voice solutions. In 2014 Mr. Cafaro observed a shift in the industry beyond Unified Communications and Convergence to an onset of actual Cloud adoption.
